Football Star Leaves Westlake, Quitting The Game

No More Football For Justin Moore

Junior star quarterback Justin Moore is quitting high school football. He has left Westlake High School and enrolled at Royal High School. Moore informed Westlake head coach Jim Benkert last Friday.

Moore led the Warriors to a CIF-SS Northern Division championship in December with a victory over rival Oaks Christian. Moore was a CIF-SS Player of the Year and Friday Football Focus also honored him as Player of the Year. Moore helped Westlake win a CIF championship in 2009 as well. Moore had already received a football scholarship at SMU.
