Great Defensive Effort By Chargers Does Not Result In A Win

The Dos Pueblos Chargers defense is as good as advertised. However the Chargers Offense needs plenty of work as they lost their 2010 high school football season opener 7-3 to visiting Righetti. The only touchdown in the game came on a 27-yard pass from Uso Tua to Michael Reynoso midway through the second quarter. The 6-2 wide receiver out jumped the defensive back for the score.

DP's defense limited the Warriors to just 135 total yards. However the Chargers were more futile than that with just over 100 yards in total offense. Nicolai Bornand's 30-yard field goal at the start of the fourth quarter were the only three points that Dos Pueblos could muster against the solid Righetti defense.
