Chargers Edge Dons In First Place Matchup

Goleta -- As expected it was a back and fourth battle between the Dos Pueblos and Santa Barbara girls water polo teams, but in the end the Chargers take over sole possession of first place in Channel League, beating the Dons 9-8.

The Chargers got a goal from Jaime Neushul in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter to give Dos Pueblos the win in a match that was tied after each of the first three quarters.

With the win the Chargers remain a perfect 6-0 in league play and improve to 13-7 overall. The Dons fall to 5-1 in league, 14-5 overall.
