LOS ANGELES, Calif. -

No one saw this coming not even Mario Hollands. The 25-year old arrived at the Philadelphia Phillies spring training camp as an unknown but he made the opening day roster.

The former UCSB star pitcher has appeared in ten games so far allowing four runs out of the bullpen in nine innings of work, striking out five batters.

He got a great reception last week at Dodger Stadium where dozens of friends and family showed their support for the 6'5 lefty.
