Santa Barbara Holds Eagles to 10 Points After Halftime

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Santa Barbara's offense got rolling in the second half and their defense was solid all game long in a 46-25 victory over Arroyo Grande on day two of the Tournament of Champions.

Santa Barbara led 21-15 at halftime but they started hitting some shots in the second half to pull away from the Eagles to move to 1-1 in the tournament.

Sophomore Amber Melgoza scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds and had seven steals in the win. Senior Desirea Coleman added 12 points for a Dons team that plays Buena at 3 p.m. on Friday at San Marcos High School.
