Gauchos Soccer to host Club America Under-20 in September

Gauchos Soccer adds top notch...

UC SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara men's soccer team will add an exhibition match against Club América Under-20, a professional development team based in Mexico City, head coach Tim Vom Steeg announced on Tuesday afternoon.  

"We are very excited to have an opportunity to play a professional soccer team at the level of Club América," said Vom Steeg. "This game meets one of our goals of trying to bring in teams to UCSB that our community would enjoy watching."  

The match will take place on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 12:00 p.m. at Harder Stadium and will serve as a kickoff to UCSB's recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Tickets can be purchased at the UCSB Athletics Ticket Office on campus and at ucsbgauchos.com

General Admission Adult: $20, General Admission Senior/Youth/Military: $15

Premium Adult: $30, Premium Senior/Youth/Military: $25.
