SBHS wins in five sets while San Marcos sweeps into semis

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

There will be a new CIF Division 2 champion in high school boys volleyball. Santa Barbara knocked out the reigning champs Oak Park in a five-set thriller. The Dons won the first two sets but saw the Eagles take the next two before Santa Barbara regrouped to take the fifth set 15-8. The Dons will play Foothill on Wednesday.

San Marcos got 23 kills from Baker Johnson as they completed a sweep at Oaks Christian. Shane Hauschild added 18 kills as the Royals await Monday's Dos Pueblos-Esperanza winner.
