Santa Barbara used a devastating 34-7 run to close out the game at San Marcos and put the finishing touches on a perfect Channel League boys basketball season.

The Dons turned a 37-31 deficit in the third quarter into a 65-44 victory that left Santa Barbara undefeated in league at 12-0 and 22-2 heading into next week's playoffs.

Trailing 37-31 in the third quarter, the Dons quickly grabbed the lead with a 12-0 run and they never looked back. Isaiah Tapia drilled 3 three-pointers in the fourth quarter alone and finished the game with 16 points.

Dons star Jack Baker tallied a game-high 17 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked six shots.

Elijah Johnson scored a team-high 16 points for a Royals team that settles for third place in the Channel League. The playoff pairings will be announced on Sunday.
