SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

The Dons said goodbye to their home gym but said hello to the CIF State Tournament Regional Final. Sophomore sensation Amber Melgoza scored a game-high 34 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead Santa Barbara High School to a 60-50 win over Mount Miguel of Spring Valley in a Division 3 quarterfinal game.

It was the Dons last home game of the year and they took advantage of being the top-seed, winning all three of their State Tournament home games.

Jocelin Petatan scored 14 points and had 9 rebounds in the win and senior Desirea Coleman added 7 points.

The Dons play Santa Margarita in Saturday's final at 6 p.m. at Colony High School in Ontario.
