Former UCLA men's basketball coach Ben Howland paid a visit to talk with the student athletes at San Marcos High School.

Howland spoke about the importance of academics, making good choices, and being a good teammate.

Howland was the UCLA head coach for a decade leading the Bruins to three consecutive final fours, and also was the assistant coach at UCSB from 1982-1994. He also attended Dos Pueblos high school before moving to Orange county.
