FRANKFORT, Kentucky -

The Westmont Warriors (26-4) advanced to the second round of the NAIA Women's Basketball Tournament.

Tugce Canitez led the way for Westmont with 27 points and 12 rebounds in the 63-58 victory over eighth-seeded Cumberlands of Kentucky.

The Warriors advance to play fourth-seeded Rogers State of Oklahoma (24-9) in a second-round game on Friday.
