Lancers fall short to Villa Park in boys basketball semifinals

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -

A jam-packed crowd at Thousand Oaks High School left the gym in disappointment as the home Lancers lost a semifinal game for the second straight year in boys basketball. Villa Park edged Thousand Oaks 51-48 in a CIF Division 2AA contest.

Tanner Fanjoy scored a team-high 17 points while Dakota Pierce added 14 but the Lancers could not quite pull out what was a tight game throughout.
