Santa Barbara Mayor Honors Film Festival With Proclamation

The 30th Santa Barbara International Film Festival kicked off its opening night with all the glitz and glamour for the anticipated U.S. premiere of Richard Raymond's Desert Dancer, the story of a group of Iranians that form a dance group in a country where dancing is prohibited. Santa Barbara Mayor Helene Schneider had a nice surprise.
