Students have joined the effort to help save 900 acres of land.

There is a big momentum of youth leadership to help San Luis Obispo County buy 900 acres of land.

Kaylin Stewart, a student at the  New Tech High School in  Nipomo,  worked on a Public Service Announcement.

“It’s such a beautiful piece of land we only have a short amount of time to get it, if we don’t get the money by August its gone.”

Stewart and other students created the hoping to increase awareness and possibly have the land become a new recreation area for the public.
