SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

After a night of howling winds and hot temperatures, concerns are cooling off about another round of blustery conditions.

The day has mostly been for clean up,  with debris, leaves, and tree limbs on many streets.

Last night one driver got trapped in a car when a branch came down in Goleta.

Santa Barbara County Firefighters were on the scene to cut the branch and rescue the driver.

Brush clearing over the last six months has created noticeable breaks in many hillside areas where firefighters would take a stand if flames erupt.  Many of these projects are part of a long term fire prevention plan funded in part, by grants.
