Today, a fourth group of 11 veterans graduated from the Santa Barbara County Veteran’s Treatment Court.

It’s a fairly new program to help veterans in trouble with the law.

Some were arrested for addictions, alcoholism, violence and mental illness; many said they were just frustrated after their services and felt alone.

Veteran’s treatment court is a one year rehab program that offers help and friends.

Today, 11 more veterans are clean, happy and plan to become mentors themselves.

Judge Rogelio Flores, who founded the program in the county, says it'll grow fast in the next few years as more vets are brought back from Afghanistan.
