Volunteers in policing wanted

VIP Academy starts next month

VENTURA, Calif. - The Ventura Police Department is looking for a few good volunteers. The eighth Volunteers in Policing Academy starts next month. The ten-week training teaches VIP graduates to assist officers on non-emergency calls.
