LOS ANGELES, Calif. -

Thousands are coming together Saturday morning to walk for a great cause as United Way of Greater Los Angeles kicks off it's 7th annual HomeWalk. This 5k run or walk is a step towards ending homelessness. It's taking place tomorrow in downtown Los Angeles at Exposition Park starting at 9 am, registration kicks off at 7a.m.

Over the past 6 years, Homewalk has had 38,000 participants, raised $3,000,000 and moved 13,000 individuals into permanent housing. All proceeds from the event go back into the community, supporting effective strategies to end the ongoing crisis.
NewsChannel 3 Anchor Shirin Rajaee will co-host the event along with ABC7's David Ono.
