SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

Typhoon Haiyan left a wake of death and destruction.

More than 100 people died in areas ravaged by a Typhoon with record windspeeds.
    
At least 100 people need medical care.

People on the other side of the globe are worried.

Deb Dobbin, of Santa Barbara,  said her children's relatives live in the Philippines.

She is hoping they can get in touch somehow.

Others are reaching out on Facebook.

Direct Relief has already sent supplies and is taking donations to cover the cost of sending more.
