Wine Cask restaurant in Santa Barbara opened up its kitchen and shared some special holiday recipes. In honor of Thanksgiving, Chef Brandon shows us some last minute ways you can add a new twist to your mashed potatoes.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes
4 pounds of Russet potatoes peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 pound butter
1/4 cup heavy creme
1/4 pound sliced chives
12 cloves roasted garlic
1/4 cup sour creme
-start potatoes in cold water and bring to a boil, until tender
-roast garlic in olive oil in a 275 degree oven for 45 minutes or till tender and golden
-puree potato and mix all ingredients
