Student Filmmakers Compete in 10-10-10 Contest

Competitors have 10 days to make a 10-minute film

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - For the ninth year in a row, students are competing in the Santa Barbara International Film Festival's 10-10-10 competition.

Organizers chose five high school scripts and five college student scripts.

Each screenwriter was assigned a mentor and given the task of making a movie during the 10 days of the festival.

The winners will be awarded at the Arlington Theatre on Feb. 9.
