SBCC Football Focuses On New Start
The Santa Barbara City College Football Team had six wins and a co-league championship from last season wiped away following off-season sanctions handed down by the Southern California Football Association.
The sanctions stemmed from recruiting violations involving players from the 2008 team. Now the 2009 Vaquero squad looks to put the past in the rear view mirror and focus on putting wins on the board. Although SBCC is ineligible for the 2009 post-season because of the sanctions, it hasn't detoured the players and coaches from doing what they can between the lines. |
