California State Senator To Play With A Professional Basketball Team

Senator Tony Strickland represents the 19th district of California. On Saturday, May 2nd, Strickland will represent the Los Angeles Lightning professional basketball team when the Lightning tip off their season at Cal Lutheran University.

Strickland, at age 39, is considered a serious recreational basketball player. On May 2nd, he will suit up and play for the Lightning which is a team that has five former NBA veterans on its roster, including former Utah Jazz Star Bryon Russell.
