Don't look now, but the UCSB baseball team has won seven in a row and 11 of its last 12. The Gauchos latest conquest came Tuesday afternoon in a 14-0 route of the 11th ranked Pepperdine Waves.

Santa Barbara scored 8 runs in the 4th, highlighted by Chris McMurray's team leading 5th home run of the season, a three-run shot over the left field scoreboard.

Michael Martin tossed seven shutout innings for his 3rd victory of the season. UCSB is now 19-7 on the season. The two teams play again today in Malibu at 2:00pm.
