Update: Missing juvenile out of Santa Maria found

Went missing Tuesday night.

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - July 19, 2017

[Update: 5:18 a.m.] Savannah McKinney has been found after a witness identified her in public and contacted authorities.

Officers then responded and located McKinney, Santa Maria police said.

In a press release, the Santa Maria Police Department expressed their gratitude to the public and the media for their assistance.


The Santa Maria Police Department is searching for a missing female juvenile who is considered to be "at risk."

Savannah McKinney was reported missing Tuesday.

Savannah is a white female, 5-foot 3-inches and 102 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police say Savannah is in need of medical attention and is currently without her medication. She has a history of running away and has been known to frequent the Santa Barbara area.

The Santa Maria Police Department is currently seeking any information that could lead to Savannah's whereabouts.
