SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Santa Maria firefighters put out a fire after a vehicle crashed into a pole Saturday night.
The crash occurred at around 10 p.m. on Bonita School Road between Santa Maria and Guadalupe.
Santa Maria City Fire Department along with one engine from Santa Barbara County Fire and California Highway Patrol responded to the crash.
The vehicle was fully engulfed and flames spread to the utility pole. The vehicle was unoccupied when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters were able to put out the flames and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash, as well as the condition of the driver, is unclear at this time.
