SANTA MARIA, Calif. - [UPDATE 1:20 p.m.] Missing 8-year-old boy Christopher Ocampo-Guzman was located safely Sunday afternoon.
Santa Maria Police Department said he was located at around 1:10 p.m. Christopher has been reunited with his family.
The Santa Maria Police Department is searching for an 8-year-old boy who has been missing since Sunday morning.
Christopher Ocampo-Guzman was reported missing from his home on the 300 block of East Enos Drive at around 8:30 a.m.
Christopher was last seen by witnesses and family members at around 6 a.m. when he was changing his clothing. He told witnesses he was leaving for church but it was later discovered he had packed all of his clothing and never arrived at church.
Christopher is a Hispanic male juvenile, approximately 4 feet tall and weighing 40 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Ocampo's left arm is unable to extend outward fully and he carries it as if it is in a sling, near his chest.
He is possibly in possession of his personal clothing, which might be in plastic trash bags.
Santa Maria Police Officers canvassed the neighborhood, searching for Christopher.
Anyone with information about Christopher's location is asked to contact the Santa Maria Police Department as soon as possible.
