CLOVIS, N.M. -

 A Santa Maria airman killed in a car crash last week will be laid to rest Today.  That crash happened outside Clovis, New Mexico near Cannon Air Force Base.  

Police in New Mexico say 22-year-old Andrew Padilla was a passenger in a car that hit a barrier and rolled over.  Padilla died after being thrown from the vehicle.  

A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Dudley Hoffman Mortuary in Santa Maria and services will follow.

Police say the driver of the car was speeding.  They believe alcohol was a factor in the crash but no charges against the driver have been filed.
