SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - More than 1,000 people are expected to fill the seats of the Granada Theater in Santa Barbara as the 13th annual Flamenco Arts Festival gets underway. The two day event features performances by the world's leading stars of flamenco and has become one of the premier flamenco festivals in the country.
This year's headliner Jesús Carmona comes all the way from Madrid, Spain. On Sunday there will be workshops providing training for artists, students, and the public. The festival is Saturday and Sunday, and there are tickets available as low as $28.
