SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Thirty-one year old Ramiro Guillen also known as "Curly" in the Santa Barbara community returned to Boston to run again. He ran last year and finished the Boston Marathon in the top 145 out of 30,000 runners.
This husband and father of two has been through intense training. He's been running 100 hours per week to get ready for Monday's big race. His goal was to finish in the top 100 and he met that goal. This year he was the 75th runner to finish the race with a time of 2 hours and 28 minutes.
Curly says it was an unforgettable experience dedicated to the victims of last year's Boston Marathon Bombings.
