SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It's a wrap. The red carpets are gone but local businesses are enjoying the "green" the Santa Barbara International Film Festival left behind.
Over the past 11 days, area businesses saw a much needed economic boost during what is typically a slow time of year. The festival drew in big crowds from all around the world, and some downtown businesses were grateful for the extra foot traffic.
The festival still has some life left. There will be encore showings of some of the best films all weekend at the Riviera Theatre, one more chance for area businesses to cash in. For more info, visit: sbiff.org
