SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Small business owners impacted by the prolonged drought are now eligible for federal aid.
The relief comes in two forms.
Farmers can get loans from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Other business owners with drought impacts can get financial help from the small business administration to carry them through the tough times.
Governor Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency because of the California water shortage in 27 counties including San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura.
