GOLETA, Calif. - Deputies arrested two Los Angeles residents after a botched robbery was caught on camera at a Goleta liquor store.
A Sheriff’s K-9 team responded to the alarm at 4:40 a.m., Wednesday at Talevi’s Wine and Spirits on Hollister Ave.
Deputies said early morning commercial burglaries have occurred in recent weeks.
About 90 seconds after the break in deputies arrested 26-year-old Samuel Saenz-Cisneros and 29-year-old Miriam Martinez, who was sitting in a parked car.
Both are from Los Angeles.
A third suspect ran to a creek bed and got away.
Saenz-Cisneros was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on suspicion of Burglary and Criminal Conspiracy. He is being held on $20,000 bail.
Martinez, who is also wanted on an arrest warrant for burglary out of Los Angeles County, is being held without bail.
