SANTA YNEZ, Calif. - The Chumash casino Resort is making plans to expand to about three times as large.
They believe they've outgrown the number visitors.
The tribe says every room of their hotel is booked nearly every day, their gaming room is crowded and it is hard to find parking.
They say they built their resort too small ten years ago because they were complying with neighbors concerned about the size of the casino.
Plans to expand are in the beginning stages.
Neighboring communities say they are anxious to see how it unfolds.
Some residents are wary of more visitors, traffic and crime, but the tribe says they will work with the county and neighbors while planning.
