Charter-Spectrum working to repair damaged fiber line causing outages

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - Crews from Charter-Spectrum are working to repair a damaged fiber line at Cuesta Peak in San Luis Obispo County that feeds the High-Def television signal for multiple stations.

The following HD channels are currently off-air for Charter-Spectrum customers in the area:

  • KEYT HD - (Ch. 783)
  • NOW Channel - (Ch. 13)
  • KKFX HD - (Ch. 781)
  • KCOY HD - (Ch. 782)
  • KPMR HD - (Ch. 784)

Comcast in Santa Maria is assisting by offering a standard definition feed for Spectrum customers while the repairs are underway.

Repairs are expected to be completed soon.

Dish, DirecTV, COX, Comcast and over-the-air signals are unaffected by this outage.
