GROVER BEACH, Calif. - A structure fire in Grover Beach destroyed a mobile home and displaced at least one occupant Saturday morning.
At around 10:50 a.m., crews from Five Cities Fire Authority responded to a report of a fire at a mobile home on Mono Court.,
Initial reports said smoke was seen coming from underneath the mobile home. First units on scene determined that heat had built up and the smoke converted to fire.
Crews were able to extinguish the flames but the structure was a total loss.
One male occupant was able to evacuate the home safely. No other injuries were reported.
Five Cities Fire Fire Chief Stephen Lieberman said the man had family nearby that was able to provide housing.
