VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. - The United States Coast Guard rescued four boaters off the shore of Anacapa Island Sunday evening.
Coast Guard Station Channel Islands Harbor watchstanders received the stress call at around 5:30 p.m.
The call came from a 38-foot boat with four people aboard. The boat was taking on water near the island.
A 45-foot Coast Guard boat launched to assist the boaters.
A 31-foot good Samaritan boat also responded and remained with the boaters until the Coast Guard crew arrived.
The Coast Guard crew arrived on scene, secured the source of the flooding and towed the boat back to Channel Islands Harbor.
No one was injured during the rescue.
