The countdown to the birth of the royal baby has stirred excitement far beyond Britain.
Montecito Journal columnist and royal family analyst Richard Mineards says with the due date Saturday it will be the culmination of a big week.
"I mean we've had Andy Murray becoming the first Brit to win Wimbledon tennis in 77 years,"said Mineards. "The sun has been shining, 83 degrees and in a few days time a royal baby. So what a week this is going to be not just in Britain but for royal fans around the world."
Mineards says many people fond of the Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are already guessing whether it will be a boy or a girl.
He says the family will be receiving teddy bears from around the world the moment the baby is born.
