Hwy 101 Lanes Cleared After Produce Truck Accident

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. -

All lanes of Highway 101 in the Gaviota area, are open as of 1:40 p.m. on the southbound side.

California Highway Patrol responded to a semi-truck accident just after midnight on Thursday.

Cal Trans closed one lane on the southbound side of Highway 101 for cleanup near the Mariposa Reina off-ramp.

According to the CHP website the No. 2 lane has been closed since 2:14 a.m.

NewsChannel 3 viewers said the delay through the area was around 40 minutes.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
