OXNARD, Calif, -

Police are investigating the shooting of an Oxnard teenager.

It happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday. Officers received a call of a shooting in the 1900 block of Gisler Avenue.  When they arrived, they found a 17-year-old Oxnard teenager suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.  He was later transported to the Ventura County Medical Center. 

Officers have little information regarding any possible suspect(s) or a vehicle description.
