PISMO BEACH,Calif. -

The coast is filling up with engines roaring as the 28th Classic at Pismo Beach Car Show rolls into town.

Hot rods, classic and custom cars from across the state make up 1,000 different cars that will be at the weekend-long event. The three-day event draws in more than 75,000 people each year.

Out of the hundreds of cars that enter, only 150 car owners will win.

Pismo Beach businesses say that they love hosting the event every year because it brings in great boosting for the local economy and it's exciting.

The annual Father's Day weekend event is free, free parking.
