SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

Perry car dealerships in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and San Diego counties have made a significant contribution to the Susan G. Komen organization to battle breast cancer.

"The process was, for every car sold, we donated $50.  Once we hit 2000 cars, we're gonna hit  $100-thousand," said Perry Manager Walter Alfaro in Santa Barbara. "I think it's definitely a win win.  Everybody gets a good deal on a car and they help a good cause."

The promotion took place in March and April.

It included a specially painted Ford on the display floor.  It was also at the weekend Earth Day festival where thousands of people came by to see it.
