OXNARD, Calif. - An Oxnard resident is facing attempted murder charges after repeatedly stabbing a woman, according to police.
Officers were called to the 1-thousand block of South Oxnard Boulevard for a report of a stabbing that had just happened at around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
When they arrived they found a 47-year-old woman suffering from several stab wounds to her upper body. The victim was listed in stable condition at Ventura County Medical Center.
Lea Ann Myers, 41, of Oxnard was also on scene. Police charged Myers with attempted murder and taken to the Sheriff's department. Her bail was set at $500,000.
