Oxnard Police make felony gun arrests

OXNARD, Calif. - The Oxnard Police Department Gang Unit continues to take guns off their streets.

On July 24, 2017, at around 5:30 in the evening police made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of West Guava Street. 

Inside the vehicle was the driver Esteban Corona, 21, and passengers Joseph Tamayo and Victor Cortez.  According to police, Tamayo is on probation, and when officers searched the vehicle, they found two fire arms.  

Corona, Cortez, and Tamayo all face numerous felony gun charges.
