PASO ROBLES, Calif. -

The city of Paso Robles is celebrating the completion of a big traffic project: the new highway 46 and 101 interchange.

The project is meant to ease traffic for drivers traveling on highway 46 onto the 101 south. An extra left turn lane has been added along with a new auxiliary lane and other improvements.

City leaders are holding a ribbon cutting ceremony Today  at 10 a.m. The ceremony will take place on the west side of Riverside at Seventeenth Street in Paso Robles.
