Microsoft is laying off the most people in its 39-year history -- 18,000 over the next year. But it's still far from the biggest mass layoffs of all time.
Microsoft announced its biggest round of layoffs in company history Thursday, saying it planned to cut 18,000 jobs within the next year -- about 14 percent of the company's 125,000 employees. Here's a look at the biggest mass layoffs in corporate history:
