LOMPOC, Calif. - A winning California lottery ticket was sold at a Lompoc liquor store on Friday, June 9.
The ticket was worth approximately $322,000 dollars. The owner of the Liquor Emporium said the winner missed the Powerball by one number. They needed all five numbers plus the Powerball but they only got the five numbers--no Powerball.
The winner has yet to come forward to claim their price.
According to the California Lottery website, there are two winning tickets for $322,000 overall.
$435 million dollars were up for grabs with the Powerball lottery. Had the winner in Lompoc taken the Powerball win, the owner of the store would have received a million dollars.
