Man dies after being stabbed in Santa Barbara
Victim identified as a 57-year-old homeless man
A man died after being stabbed multiple times around 10:49 p.m. on Tuesday.
A bystander heard people fighting and called the Santa Barbara Police Department.
Police responded to a call of a fight on the 900 block of Santa Barbara Street, in a parking lot behind a church.
A 57-year-old man was stabbed and critically injured.
He was transported to Cottage Hospital but died from his injuries.
The victim has been identified as a Santa Barbara homeless man but police are not releasing his name.
It is unknown if this stabbing is gang-related.
