LOMPOC, Calif. -

Lompoc may not have a fourth of July fireworks show this year.

The event first started more than forty years ago.  However,  budget cuts have forced residents and local businesses to pick up the tab over the past several years.

This year, organizers are afraid they might not raise enough money.
They are asking the community to come together once again to keep tradition alive.

If you would like to help sponsor the 2013 Fourth of July Fireworks Event this year,  or if you have any questions please contact your Lompoc Recreation Division at 875-8100.
