Silverstrand Hit and Run Update

We have new information about the car that hit three children and took off last weekend. It happened about 7:10 Saturday night on Victoria Avenue, North of Santa Monica Drive in Silverstrand. All three children were injured, one critically.

The CHP now says the vehicle involved in the hit and run is a silver Toyota Camry. They believe the car has damage to the front drivers side, including a broken headlight lens and missing part of the plastic bumper. A silver hubcap was also found at the scene.

We also have an update on one of the victims still in the hospital. 6-year-old Brooke Roberts is still listed in critical condition but her family is hoping she'll be home in a full leg cast next week.
